Goldie Senior Companion Care is a non-medical companion service. We spend time with your parent or the person you care for, take them to their appointments, and help with groceries and pharmacy runs.

What we do
Three kinds of help. Nothing medical, and nothing hidden — you can read exactly what is and is not included on our services page.
Non-medical only — no personal care or housekeeping
Companionship
Regular visits and friendly company — talking, playing cards, going for a walk, or sitting together over a cup of tea.
Transportation to appointments
A ride to and from doctor visits and other appointments, with someone alongside your parent the whole way.
Grocery and pharmacy pickups
Shopping for groceries or picking up prescriptions, either together or on your parent's behalf.
Who we are for
- An older adult in San Diego, California who wants to keep living at home.
- An adult son or daughter who lives far away, works during the day, or simply cannot be there as often as they would like.
- A family that needs a dependable hand with appointments, groceries, and pharmacy visits.
How it works
- 1. Call or text 619-991-8585. Tell us a little about the person you are arranging care for.
- 2. We talk it through. You tell us what is needed and when. We will be honest about what we can and cannot do.
- 3. Arrange a visit. You and your parent decide what suits you, and we take it from there.
What we are not
We are not a medical or nursing service, and we do not do personal care such as bathing or dressing. We do not do housekeeping, and we do not give medication.
